Vision Statement

The Department of Mathematics will be responsible for enhancing the teaching of mathematics by using up-to-date teaching strategies and varied instructional strategies in teaching Virginia Standards of Learning.

Mission Statement

The mission of Beville Middle School Mathematic Department will to equip our students with tools and strategies necessary to be lifelong learners of math and productive members of our evolving mathematical society. It is also our goal to develop and enhance our students’ abilities to reason logically and provide learning opportunities that respect the diversity our student population.
